TWO DAYS - THREE ROUTES - SEVEN MOUNTAINS - 4000 BURNING LEGS
It all adds up to Central Florida’s Toughest Ride
Your legs are burning, you can’t get enough air and your sweat is pouring on to your bike. Is it a nightmare? No, it’s the Horrible Hundred. You are cycling with 2000 of your friends taking on the mountains of Central Florida. You are 80 miles into the ride climbing Sugarloaf, the meanest, baddest mountain. You can see the summit ahead. If you can just make it to the top you know it is a short downhill to the final sag stop where you can replenish with Gatorade, fresh fruit and PB&Js. Then it is on to the finish at Waterfront Park and a catered lunch. This is where you started off so long ago with juice, coffee, bagels, muffins and other goodies.
Make this a full weekend of fun and riding. Start with one of several rides planned for Saturday morning. These rides will be shorter and easier than the routes on Sunday. After your ride, pick up your rider packet and miss the crowds on Sunday. Then enjoy Lunch at the Lake at our food truck event. Also check out all the cool new stuff at the Cycling and Fitness Expo with over 30 vendors. All events take place at Waterfront Park.
Please remember that the Horrible Hundred is a recreational ride and cyclists of all abilities are welcome. Helmets are required and headphones are prohibited, in accordance with Florida law. This is a rain or shine event.
